National Trust Properties:
Several well known gardens are located in this area of the North Cotswolds Hidcote (NT) and Kiftsgate gardens – near Chipping Campden and the 2007 winners of the HHA/Christies garden award Bourton House Garden, neighbouring Sezincote House and Batsford Arboretum are situated near Moreton-in-Marsh. All provide the garden lover with exceptional choice. Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birth place and home to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre is half an hour’s drive as is the University city of Oxford with its beautiful colleges and spires. The genteel, Georgian town of Cheltenham, home to National Hunt racing, is only 22 miles west. |
